Frequently Asked Questions

Your health is a big deal, and we want you to know that we take it as seriously as you do.

We are here to answer your questions and make sure you have a care plan that works for you.

  • We are a self-pay practice, which means we do not bill insurance. This allows us to keep our pricing transparent, our care personalized, and our focus entirely on you — not on what an insurance company will or won’t approve. Our monthly membership fee of $175–$350 covers your provider visits, ongoing support, and medication management. We encourage you to check whether your HSA or FSA card can be used toward your membership.

  • Your monthly membership ($175–$350) includes provider consultations, ongoing medication management, and continuous support throughout your treatment plan. There are no surprise fees or hidden costs. What you see on our Process & Cost page is exactly what you pay — something no other clinic in Columbus offers publicly.

  • Getting started is simple. Click the Book Now button to schedule your initial consultation. At that appointment, we’ll review your health history, discuss your goals, and determine which treatment plan is the right fit for you. Most patients are able to begin their program within the same week.

  • Lab work is an important part of making sure your treatment plan is safe and tailored to your body. We offer in-house labs right here at our clinic for your convenience. If you already have recent labs from your primary care provider, we are happy to review and accept those as well — no need to repeat tests you’ve already done.

  • Yes, always. Every medication we prescribe is sourced exclusively from US-based pharmacies and compounding facilities. We never order medications from overseas. Your safety is our top priority, and we believe you deserve to know exactly where your treatment is coming from.

  • You will be cared for by a licensed Nurse Practitioner with specialized training in hormone therapy and medical weight loss, supported by a supervising physician. We are a small, focused practice — which means you’ll always see the same provider who knows your history, your goals, and your progress.

  • Most patients begin noticing changes within the first 4–6 weeks, though this varies depending on the program and your individual starting point. Weight loss patients on GLP-1 therapy typically see consistent, steady progress month over month. Hormone therapy patients often report improvements in energy, mood, and sleep within the first few weeks. Your provider will set realistic expectations at your first visit and monitor your progress throughout.

  • Yes. Your initial consultation is conducted in person at our Columbus, GA clinic so we can properly evaluate your health and get your program started. After that, follow-up appointments can be done virtually from the comfort of your home. We want your care to be as convenient as possible without sacrificing quality.
